Riddhi Mukhopadhyay (she/her)

Riddhi joined us after working as a public defender in Pierce County. Riddhi started her legal career as a Berkeley Law Foundation Legal Fellow and staff attorney with the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP). Prior to law school, Riddhi volunteered and worked as a domestic and sexual assault advocate. She currently serves on the boards of the Judicial Institute and Tasveer. She also serves by appointment on Washington State’s Gender and Justice Commission and Sentencing Taskforce and previously served on Seattle’s Immigrant & Refugee Commission. In recognition of her advocacy work, Riddhi received the 2017 Jeanette Williams Award from the Seattle Women’s Commission and the 2021 Golden Tennis Shoe Award from Senator Patty Murray.  Riddhi received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Duke University. Riddhi speaks Bengali, Hindi, and se habla español.
